Cacao
Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) leads the world in production and export of the cocoa beans used in the manufacture of chocolate, as of 2012, supplying 38% of cocoa produced in the world. West Africa collectively supplies two thirds of the world's cocoa crop, with Ivory Coast leading production at 1.8 million tonnes as of 2017, and nearby Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and Togo producing additional 1.55 million tonnes.


Coffee

Coffee production in Ivory Coast is important for the economy of the country as coffee is the second largest export commodity of the nation. It was the largest coffee producer in Africa in the 1970s and 1980s, and one of the largest robusta producers in the world.
Cashew Nuts
Côte d'Ivoire is the top cashew producer in the world; its gross cashew production grew from 460,000 tonnes in 2013 to 1.1 million tonnes in 2021. The shelled cashew kernel production in the same period grew from 30,000 tonnes to 110,000 tonnes.




Palm Oil
In 2020, Cote d'Ivoire exported $59.9M in Palm Oil, making it the 23rd largest exporter of Palm Oil in the world. At the same year, Palm Oil was the 17th most exported product in Cote d'Ivoire. The main destination of Palm Oil exports from Cote d'Ivoire are: Niger ($21.1M), Burkina Faso ($11.6M), Switzerland ($6.48M), Spain ($5.98M), and Netherlands ($5.07M).

Brazil Nuts
In 2020, Cote d'Ivoire exported $725M in Coconuts, Brazil Nuts, and Cashews, making it the 2nd largest exporter of Coconuts, Brazil Nuts, and Cashews in the world. At the same year, Coconuts, Brazil Nuts, and Cashews was the 5th most exported product in Cote d'Ivoire. The main destination of Coconuts, Brazil Nuts, and Cashews exports from Cote d'Ivoire are: Vietnam ($569M), India ($104M), United States ($11.5M), Netherlands ($8.55M), and Italy ($6.26M).



Rubber
Ivory Coast has been ranked the fourth largest rubber producer in the world, according to the country’s Association of Natural Rubber Professionals (Apromac). Ivory Coast produced nearly one million tonnes of natural rubber in 2020 which represents 80% of the continent's latex. Demand for Ivory Coast rubber has particularly grown strong in Asia, a shift from its traditional destinations like Europe.

Minerals
Mineral resources in Côte d’Ivoire include diamonds and gold. Deposits of iron ore, bauxite, and manganese also exist but have not been extensively developed, although iron ore is mined near Mount Nimba.



Cotton
The sourced Côte d'Ivoire cotton is all grown and harvested by hand to maintain its natural/original form. In recent years, these cotton have been properly bred to facilitate mass production. They are long-staple cotton that is supple and high-quality to produce a softer and hairier fabric.
Ivory Coast’s cotton output for the 2021/22 season is projected to reach a record 580,000 tonnes, up 4% from the previous season, the cotton ginners’ association said. (Reuters)
